Casting Notice for SAG Short Film in Austin

Burton Casting is casting a SAG Student Short Film called “Tell Me”.  The film shoots in Austin, TX between 2/21/13 – 3/4/13.  It is a paid student short film being directed and produced by a great production team in Austin, TX.  If you or someone you know fits the below specs, please email us to submit at brad@burtoncasting.com.

Shoot Dates: Thurs. 2/21/13 – Mon. 3/4/13 (Talent needed up to 6 days during that time frame. Mostly late night shoots, 1 day shoot)

Shooting Location: Austin, TX – *All talent must work as an Austin local hire.

Audition Date: Sat. 1/26/13 in Austin, TX

Callback Date: Sat. 2/2/13 in Austin, TX

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:

DRIVER:  Male, 40-47 years, open on race.  Likeable, charming and approachable.  Handsome but weathered, personable but guarded. He’s a little bitter due to a failed marriage and a dead-end job, but he has no real inclination to improve his life. He embodies the idea that a cynic is just a disappointed idealist. Must have a valid drivers license.

WOMAN:  Female, 40-47, open on race.  Elegant and classy.  She should be educated with a sense of refinement and sophistication.  Poised, self-possessed. She’s a generous soul with a practical mind– friendly and approachable, but cautious about getting close to anyone.
